scratch fs, or 01 1080

What do you guys think, I could get the 169 1080 with s810 bindings for about 300, or I could get rossignol scratch fs 174 for about 380. I don't know if the 1080 is a really awesome jibbing ski or not, i want to know if it's length makes it better than the 174 scratch in the park.

I would say the scratchs, even though they dont come with bindings. Salomon bindings suck anyways. They are to much longer, and they have a lot of pop.

I'm about 5'10 and 130 lbs. I was leaning towards the scratches, but my main problem was if the scratches would be as good as the 1080's for flips and stuff. I'd do mainly park, but also powder and steeps.

im the same height, but im 170lbs...im on the 174 scratches and theyre perfect...id go with the scratches...theyd probably be better for flips or whatever...cause theyre center mounted, so if u land backseat, theres more tail to land on

The 1080's are heavy. You have to be an aggressive skier to have control of them. But when you are aggresive enough, the skis rock.
