SCOTT Skis team just got even Stronger

Salomon is not dropping everybody just changing to more of a backcountry focus. They've just signed to the most progressive ski mountaineers these past years in Andreas Fransson and Greg Hill. Guess they think they can make more money and backcountry gear. The same with their skis, they have like one freestyle specific ski. The rest is allmountain/backcountry skis.
 
Reasons to do this.

1. Park/Pipe market has hit its limit pretty much, everyone gets it now and it is part of the ski world.

2. Aiming towards back country gear and signing up mountaineers hits a new market and an older one that has more $$$.

4. A lot of park and pipe skiers are like a match they burn out fast. Mountaineer guys just last longer in the sport.

3. Profit.
 
odd move for salomon seeming dane was one of the guys who help build a foundation and help design their rocker 2s.. mustn't have like them that much
 
Well did Salomon drop Dane, or did he drop Salomon? Crazy if Salomon dropped him since he's such an amazing back country,big mountain skier.
 
either way its an odd move seeming he was riding a ski he actually helped design and had freedom to create the ski to suit his needs..
