So I've done a boat load of research on them and they seem like a good ski but the one question i would like to know is, Are they durable?

I only ask because i am looking for these to last me for about 2 seasons, if these rant good i was planning to go with the domains or chronic
 
eh idk i find it hard to trust Scott. Yes Tommy Walnuts rides with them but i hardly ever see anyone ride them. Domains and chronics are both SUPER playful and all ive heard about the punishers is that they are super stiff. I have domains and love them theyre just a tad heavy. my friend has chronics and is in love with them. i think your best bet are the chronics my man.
 
thread bump for input, i lost 2 inches of edge on my 5th day riding them. the inside edge of my leading ski just blew out on a single barrel rail, there is a good 4-5 inches missing now two months later. has anyone else have durability issues with scott?
 
I got the 2012 PunJibs as a jump/ all mtn ski. I'm afraid to use them on rails because I've heard about durability issues.

In september I won a pair of the Jib TW's and they have a noticeably thicker edge. I haven't taken them on rails yet though.
 
I ride a pair of pun jibs, and now I regret buying them... They seem durable even tho I don't thrash my skis but they have little pop to them and just don't perform as u would expect
 
I have 2011 jibs and I've pretty much destroyed them going threw trees and riding over rocks but they hold up pretty good in the park if you want them for only 2 years they'll hold up but if you're going for longer I'd consider other skis
 
Bought the 2012 as I needed a replacement ski fast and they were quite

cheap. Absolutely love them but as with everyone else have had quite a

few issues with durability. Probably done about 20ish days and had quite

a few cracks and a buckled edge... They did survive a fall off my car

going about 20mph though!

Overall, if you're looking for a robust ski I wouldn't recommend the Punisher 12s or earlier. However, as they are just so nice to ride big kickers/ switch etc, I would seriously consider a the newer Punisher TW, which, as people have mentioned, having a thicker edge would make it a very good ski.
