so yes I used the searchbar.

basically this is an interesting ski with LOTS of different opinions. Some say it is super stiff, others that its soft. Some say it is bullet proof, others say they break.

Can I get some opinions?

From my knowledge they are a medium flex and very durable... and sick!

I have 4 friends that ride them. Plus Scott is a sick company.

Invader, Fujative, STL are soft park skis. P3 is soft enough to work in the park but stiff enough to work outside it.

are you guys serious? i think my p3's are pretty much noodles. ive ridden a friend's ar5's before too and theyre so much more stiffer than the p3's.

see this is what i was talking about, everyone's experiences vary. Some say they are super soft, others that they are stiff. hmmm

The Fujative and AR6 are stiffer in the mid section, but the tips are softer compared to the P3, so would butter etc easier. The P3 has the stiffest tips of the skis above, which would explain why it's a better performer outside the park in terms of grip and carving.

I love my P3's (178)... stiffer than almost any other park ski I've ridden (sans the Elan Mo2) but if you push them too hard, the tip will eventually fold in mid turn... Even though the tips are stiff, there seems to be a flex point just in front of the binding. (I mounted them at +2.5)

But still, they initiate and hold a turn really well, so much better than PE's

They've been bombproof for me, I've had tons of landing on ice on the east coast, and they still look new.

I haven't used them on rails though, so I can't comment on that.

I picked up a pair of 184cm P3's that I'm going to mount at recomended, I expect them to perform even better for all mountain.

a buddy of mine tore his to shreds within 2 weeks of owning them.  Ripped out all the underfoot edging and then tails delamed.  Needless to say he warranteed them and sold the new ones.
