Scott Jib TW, length & binding advice

I'm planning on buying this years/next years Scott Jib TW ski, had the one from last year and it is awesome to ride, but with 158cm it is just too short, also it has a broken edge.

Now here my questions:

I'm 165cm, is the 168 too long for me? Since I do mainly jibs I don't really need the additional length for stability on jumps

from what I've experienced the 2014 are a lot stiffer than the 2013 version, is this possible?

also, the 168 appeared a LOT heavier to me than the 158

last question:

would the FKS 14 be a good binding on it? had it this year, but I feel like a heavy ski + heavy binding don't make a good combination, also scott+FKS seems weird anyways

would be glad for some advice!

The 168 is definitely a good length. But I would go with the marker Griffons instead of the fks. They're cheaper and a lot lighter

price doesn't matter to me, also griffons DIN is too low & the stand height to high... i don't know but griffon really is not for me

thx anyways, more people told me 168 wud be good

fks/ pivot 14 arent noticeably heavier than other bindings, they are just as much plastic as marker/ px series/ aaatack etc

i don't know if you ever had direct comparsion between griffons and pivots, but hell, the pivots are noticeably heavier, especially the 18's (like, 800g)

yeah 18s are much heavier, but ive also ridden px12s and 140s on the same pair of skis and i really couldnt feel a difference.

px12 indeed are not so heavy, but the 14 is already noticable, imo
