i noticed hibbert's name wasnt on the high 5 ad, did he and berman have a falling out after last year's segment?

personally i would be pissed, all the retards who havent seen strike 3 but have seen forward just assume hibbert blows, when really he is fuckin sick, he just takes a few rather hard diggers.

i believe he has an appearance in high five, albeit briefly. I don't know about any falling out, and I haven't heard anything along those lines, except that Berman's priority is to introduce the world to the best skiers, be they young, old, new, or veterans. I guess Hibbert didn't fit the bill this year.

i dont reckon hibberts that good anyway, and thats not cuza his forward section. ive seen other footage of him plus the stuff he landed in forward's friends section and i dont think he has much steeze at all.

hibbert is sicku....his segment in forward just shows that he pshes it, take huge hits, dusts them off and keeps going. the kid has commitment and drive....i look forward to his segments

finn isnt going to be in bermanns film, they had a falling out, and derek was injured most of the season, he said he was going to film with johnny d next season though, big thing big things

i've seen both those shots and

1. i hate grabs off rails i reckon they're fucking stupid.

2. he almost crashes the lodge gap on the landing and does a switch snowplough

i'd like to see you do the deck jib to gapping the last set of stairs and stick it cleanly. seriously. and the grabbing off of rails is your personal opinion. on and regular rail i don't like it, but on the drop off like the hut jib its awesome. and thats my opinion.

I really don't think it is fair for you guys to be ragging on the abilities of someone you don't know, and have never met. Obviously, some issues were at play, so it's unfair to make any assumptions until you hear from the people involved.

hibbert might fall with disasterous results, but after that fact, he always seems to get back up and stick what hes trying to do, so he's due that credit..he never gives up, and ive never seen him do anything that wasnt sick

ok, in my personal opinion he is unstylie, but i can see why people like him. he adds excitement to the sport and hes determined. id just like to see him work on making that huge bag of tricks hes got have a heap of steeze rather than learning something, checking it off the list and going for something bigger and better. its all about refining your tricks. (in my opinion)

hibbert is fucking sick lets not forget he qualified 1st at the X games super pipe last yr. he pushes himself no matter what hes doing and thats why he takes so many nasty bails. unlike u little pussies out there who just sit back and watch your stupid ski movies and judge people based on there segments. get a life

hibbert sometimes busts out cool shit but grabs off rails are the gayest thing imaginable that stair gap is ok but you cant say ' uuuuuuh you wouldnt do it' coz thats what seperates the pros from the tryhards like us. I reckon alot of pros could do that stair thing better..

Im not outta line your outta line the whole frikin system is outta line and when you reach over and put your hand into a pile of goo and its your best friends face, well guess what marge its chinatown.
 
Thats really strange and kind of disapointing that he isnt in High five, he has been in every other level 1 movie, and they were always fun segments to watch,

Thats funny that Derek Finn isn't going to be in Level 1 movies anymore and fine by me cause his segments were pretty lame anyway. But is he really shooting with PBP? He having a segment in X, cause if so, I sure as hell would be surprised! Nothing against him personally, but I don't think he's quite good enough to pull it off.

 
ouch that hurts. of course, berman sorta dicked me pretty hard on my segments (strkie three by making me look retarded and forward by making my section the rail only section) so you have seen approximatly 3 and a half minutes total of my skiing, where as i have been riding for almost 20 years now. i must say that you really have no idea how good or bad i just might be, especially basing your opinion off of a video segment that was out of my control and a bad year last year with a blown knee the first week of january keeping me from actually collecting some real footage. but whatever, people are entitled to their decisions, and no i will not be in X this year, i had no footage before my injury, but next year we will see what happens...

yah man you definately can't judge what finn can do based on his forward segment, all that shows is that he can clean some pretty narly urban handrails which is sick, but dont make ignorant comments about someone that you don't know

nobodys segment ever tells the complete story of what type of athlete they are..i know a few kids who are insane skiers, but u point a camera at them, and they lose all their style and fall..dunno why but it happens..not saying thats Finns issue, cause it obviously isnt, but segments can be deceiving

how have u not liked finn's segments? sure, he gets ragged on in the beginning of his strike 3 seg, but the rest of it is fuckin sick, especially when he transfers those tables. i'm pissed he's not in high 5

Thats pretty sad that Derek Finn feels the need to defend himself so much. Take a deep breath dude, everything will be ok, even if I think you aren't good enough to be in movies. I'm entitled to my opinion, and that makes it legit. And by the way, you can't jump for shit. I skied with you in Mammoth when i was down there for a week the year before last and you didn't do a damn thing aside from slide a few rails. Even the random joeys were throwing down on the jumps harder than you were. Oh well.
