The Scott Gaffney that races boarder cross used to ride for Burton but just got dropped. He is 's Gaffney from Canada where as skiing's Gaffney resides in Cali. The snowboarding Gaffney also races mountain bikes.

Actually it was a statement made by Gaffney refering to the Canadian crew. I think Gaffney actually is roomies with McConkey.
