so i went in for an interview and they were practically begging me to work for them (MCSPORTS like dicks except round MI) i bargained up to 9$ an hour and 4.5% Commission!! plus i am working skiing department!! so discounts and free hot waxes, stone grinds, pre-season tune up, end of season etc.

IDK i think this is dope, what u guys think??
 
yea they selll like fisher and K2 but im going to try to get some lines maybe some t-hall in there, especially thalls cause i want a pair so i buy from them they cheap!!
 
sweet job. i got an offer today for an internship next summer. $30/hr for learning the ropes for a petroleum company. and i start school tomorrow to be a petroleum engineer. word.
 
for the past 2 summers ive worked at a landscape supply store operating a loader and driving dump trucks making 10 bucks an hour under the table about 35 hours a week. CLAIM!

just hoping the money i saved this summer lasts me my freshman year of college
 
the shop i work at i get 12.50 plus like a 70% discount off like everything and i get to ski free like anywhere in the east and some places in the west so completly ill
 
You lucky son of a bitch. I don't even get paid minimum wage at the orchard i work at. And i do shitty jobs like weedwacking. I hate it so bad.

summer spring and fall i work at a golf course=free golf and discounts on clubs!
winter ski instructor= mad gear discounts and ceap food free skiing and min wage, but i get paid for double the hours i work
 
ive got a pretty sick job. a marina that all i do is help the odd boat in and tie them up. then i just hang out in the sun. tones of girls walk by since its in the park. and i get winters off.
 
yea i worked at a marina and it was pretty sweet but i couldnt stand my boss so i quit. and i just turned down a job at ikea because id have to work weekends
 
teach little kids, but i get the kids who ski everything already, so usually we just cruise around for half a day and find little bumps n shit. well worth it.
 
its even better if you ski with someone like this.

1. you get to watch them walk up to the cashier with 4 trays filled with $30 of food....after its discounted %50. and have the lady look at him and know its obviously not all his, but the weekly occurance for some reason doesnt make her say anything

2. you get to enjor your $2.50 fries after paying $2.50 and not $5

but any job is better than no job. money is gooooood. urs sounds pretty chill. i also work in a sports store so its aight. but u get some duuuuumb ass people, and ignorant ones too
 
Bump! Cos I had the longest interview day ever yesterday...but i got my job!

I am going to go and live in france for the season and serve food and clean rooms and ski and its gonna be cool. STOKED. I will get paid fuck all...but the only thing i need money for is the occasional beverage. Yipee!
 
haha, that reminds me of my first job, at earls. i only ever bought dank, vodka, and whisky with my paycheques.
 
I like mine.

Outside salesrep for my family company. I make 12.32 now + whatever I use in gas, which I usually jack up a bit. So I drive around all day, talk to people and get paid.
 
nice to hear that people are getting good jobs..

i just got at new job too. got called up sunday and asked if i wanted to work on mallorca (spain) for 2 months, so now friday i'm sittiing in the aiport waiting for my new boss to pick me up, i'll be working as a kids entertainer at a hotel where i'll be payed 950 euros a month to play with kids in the sun all day. i'll be living at the hotel for free and getting food for free too. just sucks that it's only two months, but on the other hand i'll make it home just as the the ski season starts and then i might go to laax and work there :)
