So i am doing school ski team. Its only racing. It is full of mostly either boys who just want to ski/get varsity letter or girls who want to take pics with snow. But again its racing. I am not required to wear the super tight suit for practice so i had a few questions. Is there such thing as steeze in racing? I imagine saga xxxxxl isnt apprectiated, but what should i wear that i can both race, and ski park when im not taking my runs without getting laughed out of either. Any help is appeciated.

op racing gay

Belive me i get it. Racing wasnt my first choice and still isnt. I see it as another way to be on snow for an extra 3 days a week while being with a good group of kids. Now i have necer tried it so i cant comment on how it is myself but you seem to have a rather closed mind. Have you ever tried it?

Op don't do it, I don't think you can race on twins

The team provides race skis and i will bring 2 pairs. I can leave my skis at resort in our team locker room.

Hey bfish, carve a turn then talk shit

You 100% can race on twins, I did last year and lettered/ went to state. Don't use the race skis, just have fun and race on what you want to ski on.

I'm doing my school racing team too, my first year "racing" and I'm using j skis whip its, my park skis and xl Virtika jacket and xl pants. Idk how serously your coaches are but mine are serious but they know some kids are doing it just to ski

im doing racing this year and my team could care less what i wear. I'm able to sneak off and do laps every now and then.

Yeah its about as competitave as youd like it to be im willing to give racing a shot and try something new but i wont be spending more times racing than in the park or other opprotunitys the mtn has to offer.

My school ski team doesn't even make you race so you can literally hop on the bus and take some laps. Shitty ski hill tho, and they only go up like twice a year, which sucks.

Be a racing pioneer. Use your twin-tips and win some races, show those little nerds that NS'ers can do anything.

I did racing this year to go up more. I race in twin tips and bought a $200 helmet that looks stupid. I wear all my baggy stuff. Don't do it op, your wasting your time. I tried to free ski but it not worth it because you have to be on time for your race and all that shit. I regret doing it.

I would say bring only race skis to training cause you might not have time to ski park during that time. But on race days bring your park skis cause you get time to fuck around in the park. And for outerwear, it doesnt matter. On race days I ski park in a speed suit. Who cares about Saga Fan-boy tools like Brett Fisher judging you while they're trying to get more style in their k-feds because Henrik Harlaut says style is important. Fuck those kids. Do You

Oh and to add to what I said above I definitely would recommend ski team. Lapping gates is more fun than it sounds. It's also great to have a good skills base in skiing. And racing beats school any day
