i live in in colorado springs and when ever i talk bout skiing, ppl make fun of me and say snowbarding is way cooler and skiing is for losers. so i finally just filmed one weekend and showed everybody so nobody gives me crap anymore

when they say that i reply with..."You mean the 30ft incline at the top of the trash dump?" Literally @ Alpine Valley in MI the mountain i race out of is an old trash dump, and there is a 30ft incline with a little bit of steepness that everyone thinks they're hot shit when they go down it. That plus the boarderfags that just ride across the race courses without looking.

Exactly. Because those of us who are still learning anything past a 3, can't pretzel 270, don't have a jump bigger than 15' at our home mountain, and god forbid, don't have full tilts shouldn't be skiing right. I'll make sure I'm not on the hill at the same time you are. Sorry.
 
i used to be that kid. im not gonna lie but i dont even ski... i snowboard. but im really into skiing, and want to try it. last year i was the type of kid who said (to my brother who skis) that skiing is "really gay" and snowboarding was cooler. now i dont even like the fact that i snowboard.
 
kids who post pictures on their facebook from the weekend before where their 50ing a butter box or something and they just thing their tha shit? yeah, it pisses me off. And kids who where like a nomis shirt or burton or whatever but you know theyve gone skiing like 5 times ever.
 
They prbly had fun skiing, but I hate when they say they are a skier, cause they do it once or twice a year. they have no idea what it's like to really be a skier. agree?
 
I like talking about skiing whether the person I'm talking to skied once ten years ago or if they ski all day every day. Don't swim, float.

You forgot to add "and at one time you were EXACTLY LIKE THE KID, NAY, ALL OF US WERE EXACTLY LIKE THAT KID". How many of us know just a little about some subject, and those that are experts could talk with their friends "what gapers we are"?
 
after a weekend, like 30 people come up to me and ask me how the conditions were, I guess its a valid question but most don't even ski
