School Food Around The World

Depends on the school.

Most schools 1-2 euros per bread.

I was in Private school in Amsterdam and we had an actual chef preparing those breads, those came out at roughly 5-6 euros for wild salmon with truffelmayonaise.
 
... Except all the food is pretty greasy and gross. Only good thing is the fresh sandwich line that's like a subway except better. Only down fall is that the line is always so long so that by the time you get your sandwich, lucnch is almost over.
 
A slice of pizza is 3$ I want to say. Some of the food is expensive. That's another reason it makes more sense to pack lunch
 
Exactly, money is the issue when it comes to healthy foods. I'd say we have a pretty good budget for food though.
 
Elementary and middle school wasn't great food, typical fast food-type stuff on styrofoam plates.

High school was pretty good for the most part though, but definitely not on the level with Finland. The food at my university isn't that great either--I was at Washington University and their food was fuckin bomb but I always felt pretty unhealthy after eating the cafeteria food in the dorms. Now I make good food for myself at home.

Yeah my school has open campus for lunch, so everyone leaves and buys their own lunch from local places. Campus is closed for freshman though because they get caught smoking at lunch.

swear to god. they were amazing. snack packs flying.. taking a soda bottle unscrewing the top shaking it and then throwing it. i got a orange to the side of the head pretty good.

Poutine, mmmmmm poutine. Warms my soul.

And I can attest to the food fights, I've been in two myself.
