School Clubs?

Well since the school year started up about this time I'd thought I ask what "clubs" at their school that people might have joined.

Today I joined Eco Club, Cookie Club, Ski Club and S.E.C.K.S Club.
 
ski club? that's sick I wish I had one. I'm drumming for Vocal Jazz, which is like the highest level choir
 
Politics Soc, Economics Soc, Alternative Investments Soc, Emerging Markets Soc, Hummus Appreciation Society, LARA (Lager and Real Ale Society), Athletics Union, French Society
 
WHY ARE THERE SO MANY AWESOME CLUBS

MY SCHOOL HAS STUDENT COUNCIL, BAND, CHOIR, AND CHARITY
 
MY school has a bunch of other shit too, like Harry Potter Club, Bowling Club, Speed Readers Club, and a couple more legit/bullshit clubs like that
 
College v. High School?

My high school has two pages, single spaces, two columns, in size 10 font of clubs so I cant list them all. But there are some pretty cool ones, and some really lame ones (Magic the Gathering club, I'm looking at you)
 
i went to look at cross country... you have to run 7k and during saturday at 9am. eff no. but the ultimate club and ski team are the best.
 
i always join several clubs at the beginning of the year and then forget that im in them or just never show up to the meetings and events and shit.
 
I'm starting the ski club this year, and in past years i've been a member of the ultimate frisbee club, the lumberjack club, and the bike club. There are some pretty chill clubs at my school, and some lame ones. Lumberjack club pretty much just wears jeans with suspenders and plaid flannels to school every once in a while and marches around like lumberjacks. Also there was a pancake breakfast.

im not in it, but my school has a fucking SICK woodsman team. there's actually a few super hott babes on the team. they are the best woodsman team in the nation. they go around and compete against other teams in like all these wood-chopping related events. like who can fell a tree in the fewest chops and saw a tree down fastest or run on a log floating in water for the longest time. they are the best in the nation.
 
My friend started up the Scheming Society, which just did pranks and silly stuff throughout the year.

They put '100% Recycled Urine' stickers over all the drinking fountains, spread rumours that the Queen was visiting, etc. Real life trolls
 
ski club for my highschool, and the middle school, and me and my friends are gonna goof around in golf club
 
Forgot to mention this...

Lumberjack Club T-shirts say "Lumberjack Club" on the front.

On the back they say:

"We have wood and we're coming."

That was only one year, and I couldn't get my hands on one... (a t-shirt)

And I forgot the bowling club- disbanded, but a few years ago they had t-shirts that had a picture of a bowling pin and two bowling balls, with the slogan:

"Campolindo Bowling Club: The Biggest Balls on Campus"
 
I've joined Rodeo Club, Cigar club, and wresting club.

I'm stoked for rodeo club though, ive got a chance to compete at bullriding.
 
i never found the point of clubs, why would i ever want to spend extra time at the school other then the amount only for my classes, that and all my friends felt the same way so none of them were in clubs, leading us to form our own, out of school "do what ever the fuck we want" club in a sense
 
But my clubs consist of ski club(skiing duh), Cookie Club(we eat cookies in a teachers room at lunch on mondays). Secks Club(I joined cause it was Secks Club), and Eco Club which is like every thursday for like 20 minutes of lunch(Most likely there will be food)

Not much commitment/extra time for those bullshit clubs.
