School boycott

about 2 weeks ago some of my friends and i decided we were going to organize a school wide boycott of the school lunches because the prices are ridiculous( like 4 dollars for chicken and fries, 2 bucks for a vitamin water or gatorade, 2 bucks for fries, etc.)

My friend made a facebook group and we invited a ton of the kids from our school. We started the boycott today and we realized that it was bad planning on our part because the accredidation board is visiting our school monday-wednesday this week. So at lunch today not one senior went up to buy food and only a few kids in my wave did.

By last period when all 3 lunch waves were over, my friend who started the facebook group and the other 2 administrators got called down to the office and got suspended. Everyone who wrote on the group wall got anywhere from 1 to 3 hours of detention.

I go to a private catholic high school and its super gay. The reason for suspending the people was because we arent allowed to show that we are students of the high school in any way online. There was not one mention of our high school in the entire description of the group so basically they are suspending 3 of my friends for no legitimate reason when they didnt do anything wrong. My school is so gay

End Rant/

how can they possibly get suspended?
because they didn't buy lunch? that's buuuuuullshit.
i'd get a lawyer in one sec, and fuck them up. they have to base to suspend him

ours are actually really good but theyve been gradually bringing the price up since freshman year and now its ridiculous

best way to do this is peacefully, organize it so that the people dont buy the lunch, there for they are losing money by jacking up the prices, 2 years ago we did this cause the price for 3 cookies went from $1, to $1.50, which doesnt seem bad, but at $.50 for a damn cookie its rediclous. just boycott in general, peacefully.

I go to a private catholic school too and they would totally do something stupid like this. They always call people down for parties and shit like that, and are always looking to get people suspended or expelled. But it's way better than the shitty ass public schools, just avoid being caught.

the catch there is that is a private catholic school and they "have the right" to suspend anyone they please. i know its gay but they have threatened us like that b4 at my highschool

he he.. private schools.. hehe

they are kinda laughing matter where I am because my public high school consistently rapes the local private schools, in average test scores, and the like. And even in some random sports, like tennis, cross country, basket ball, track, swim. not football, but it was close

i think when you go to a private school you basically forefit all your rights there. im not really sure though.

me too. haha
i go to a public school, and i guarantee i get as good or better of an education (lots of APs, and really good teachers, some nationally recognized) than any school in the seattle area.i go to garfield by the way.
just i pay about $30,000 less than them. lulz.
