School 4 days a week

Some scools are going 4 days a week with longer days. Id mush rather do this that means an extra day for skiing.
 
i dont know there are pnly like 100 but they save a lot of money by doing this my school needs to switch to this schedule
 
Highschool is worthless, in college we have less class, less day, less time, and we learn more. But if i was in high school, id rather go to class for an extra hour or two and have 3 day weekends for sure.
 
You're so right. I did nothing in highschool, no work whatsoever, and still got by. Once I got to college I really had to try.
 
ugh i dont want to write in yellow...

these longer school days also means no working after school, less time to do work, and prolly getting up earlier in the morning. they cant go much later because school sports cant start late. so really the extra day you get back, prolly wont be filled with anything exciting
 
because your brain cant process information for that long, after about 8 hours of studying a day your thinking starts to slow significantly and may eventually become counterproductive
 
yup, heard about this its to save money on school bus fuel, and other necessities for the school. i know of a school in upstate new york where i live is doing it, the school is about 20 minutes from mine. i wish my school wasn't considered a "walking district." because of that we don't have buses. i wish we did have buses for this reason. we either walk/ ride are bikes to school or get a ride.
 
i think 7 to 4 or 7 to 5, something like that, i forgot. im sure its gonna be like 5 or 6 block periods and lunch
 
One of these schools in in a little bumfuck town known as Fairplay, CO. They are poor as shit and their schools are terrible. They use this 4 day a week method
 
not really. it would be from like 9 to 9 or 8 to 8. think of it. its like working a long shift. you do it twice and then you have 5 days to do whatever the fuck you want. i'd do it. plus there would be less homework
 
My dad told me about this and i got all excited. They're doing this because gas prices are so high and school buses are getting so expensive to fill up and some buildings aswell. But it means your school day would be like 2 hours shorter which could affect skiing after school. But im down for this its way better than school 5 days a week but it would suck if yout day off was on wednesday and not friday or monday so your weekend could be longer.
