Scarpa boots

I hate ski boots so much, that I was considering trying a totally different style. Something like the scarpa tornado pro's. Anybody have these? Ride them in the park? could be sick, might be the next trend...
 
the red, black, and white tornados are sooo sick... but their AT boots. they are meant to flex near the toes for hiking better.

but i mean, its all preference... im sure they are comfy and a good boot. if they work out, let us know, but dropping that kinda money just to see if they work is not worth it.
