it wasn't the spot, it's that he was casually side slipping down the first few vertical feet. if he would have been paying more attention he wouldn't have gone backward that far and off the edge.

As soon as he looked over the ledge in the beginning, I knew he was gonna slip or something and the entire time I was waiting and then he finally fell in the scariest way possible.
