ive been skiing in general since last season now.. and im afraid that im gonna suck on the first day of the season. the first day i was on skis last year.i fell ALOT and realllyyy sucked. i got good during the middle of the season.. so im afraid of losing all my skils that i learned last season, dont wanna look like an ass on new pe's. anyone have advice?

get the basics down again.. ease into it... start slow... it comes back, no worries

make sure you feel comfortable jsut riding your new skis before you do anything really nuts, get the feel of them....

i found that it was just like riding a bike. The first slide on the snow and it all came back to me. Spend awhile just skiing though. It'll help. Then start small on the jumps. It'll come back in no time.

who cares, everyone is rusty there first day, you shouldn't be scared, you're not gonna throw it donw your first day, even your first month, you gotta get back into it and don't worry about it

every sucks on the first day, just get up there early and take it back to the beggining, just dont get down on yourself and laugh at yourself when you fall and have fun, youll be back in a day or two

yah, dont worry, pretty much everybody feels they suck on their first day. especially for people in the east probably, after not being on snow for upto 8 months straight, its bound to mess with the skiing mojo a little, but after a few runs, or maybe even a few days, itll all come back

my friend just started skiing 2 years ago and last year he was all worried about forgetting how to ski but it all came back really easily
