i didnt want it to have to have to come to this, because I beleive in giving people 2nd chances and seriously its just a big hassle, but this is real low. Due to Mr. Kennedy's poor part on being a seller this is the only last thing i can do, besides listing him as a bad seller, and black listing and contacting paypal. This is all because of the fact that i sent him 130$ for his pair of 04/05 4frnt msps just over 2 months ago on feb.11, 2008. NS being a ski community where most users are decent respectable people/skiers I assumed i could trust another person with my money to send me what i paid for. But i guess not. I've seen people post in other threads saying how simple it is to go to the PO and send your item out, no matter how busy you are. Once you have received payment you are obligated to get that product the buyer has paid for to him ASAP. Not only did it partially ruin my spring skiing in not having a pair of sticks to use, but now I am out of 130$ as well.

So let me break down the hard facts for you how it went down.

Feb 11, 2008 - I purchased his skis.

Feb 17, 2008 - I request for a refund due to finding a better deal. I still hadn't received the skis at this point. So for you people wondering THEY WHERE STILL AT HIS HOUSE.

feb 17 - feb 27 - After 20 pms didnt get through i realize he has blocked me. I email him and he responds on the 27th assuring me he will have paid me back my money in no less than a week......doesnt happen

March 3 - guess what?!?!?! he cant come up with the money. guess he spent it all. So we go back to square one. selling the skis again.

March 11 - I realize these skis arent going to sell and im not going to get my money back. So i just tell him to send me the skis. He once again promises to have them out that friday. march 11 being a tuesday.

March 26th - OOOOOOO who can guess what happens next... you guessed it.... no skis at my house or have heard from him for 2 weeks. HERES AN EXACT QUOTE OF AN EMAIL HE SENT ME on that day with his excuse. which doesnt add up at all if you think about it. having unmounted not being used skis sitting in his car?? common...and while he doesnt check his email he goes on NS.. seeing that he had logged in

"hey man I'm really sorry I haven't checked my e-mail (I'll spare you most of story and the excuses) The one excuse I do need to tell you about is that my car got impounded with the skis in it and I couldn't get them back until I got the car unimpounded. I will send them to you ups with the fastest shipping I can afford (and a tracking number will be e-mailed to you). I'm really sorry about this man, I've sold many an item over the internet and this has never happened to me."

March 31- emails me back promising he will send them out that night or the day after... sure enough your getting the picture by now. it dont happen

April 6 - emails me back with no response.

April 9 - He emails me saying. "OOOO i didnt have your address what is it again?" haha who are you kidding boyo

present day april 17th - havent from him since

I gave him multiple chances to send them and well this was his last chance so i guess hes outta luck. Im sure hes a good kid but for christ sake just give me my money back or the skis since your not even using them. All i know is he lives on the EC in the USA. his name is Jamie Kennedy and his girlfriend is Aubrey Litchfield and he skis at jiminey Peak. Does anyone know this kid. he seems to be a decent skier. Has anyone ever dealt with him over NS and bought anything off him successfully?

Any help is appreciated, i KNOW its bloody long but its a must.

that is probably a golden wheelchair right there
why would he do that? it would just cost him shipping fees, yes it costs money, and the kid would just throw them out

my advice....hitman

something similar to this happened on tgr gear swap a while back. to cut a long story short, they got some tgr maggots in the area to find the dodgy seller and front him about it and in the end he got his skis and the seller copped a lot of abuse.

if you can get his address somehow, try to get in contact with some people in his area, somebody is sure to know him. being confronted in real life (as opposed to an email) is usually intimidating enough to get some response.

good luck man. it always sucks to hear stories like this

have you made a claim on paypal? i actually do a lot of deals over the internet, used wrx parts, ski equipment, computer shit, and run into a lot of dodgy people. when i feel in trouble, i make a paypal claim. paypal is so legit, you will never lose your money while using them. you may have to wait to get your cash back but you'll get it. you have a certain period of time to file a claim, so it may be too late.

anyone who has paypal, has a cc or bank account hooked up to paypal. if he already spent your money, they will take it from the cc or bank account linked to his paypal account. make a claim immediately and escalate it. don't talk to the seller, just go straight to letting paypal hear the case and make a decision. he will have to prove he shipped them or pay up.

that fuckin sucks i hate when ass hole people deside to ruen peoples days with this kind of dumb shit

This is why we need to get rid of the official good buyer/seller thread and just put a comment section in peoples profiles....

you could be seeing another one very shortly due to someone not shipping the product i bought from him after weeks of waiting and telling me it will be in the mail...now, no sign of hearing from him

I am not looking through 25+ pages to find a name, maybe one that has been changed...it was great when it started I am sured, but now it is just rediculous.

yeah i know. i feel so sketched out buying shit on here now. i bought pants and jacket, came quick. and just ordered goggles and got a tracking # etc. so that's basically 99.999% assuring which is good.

usually dealing with people on here who are donators, contribute a lot to the site, or have been around for a while is your best bet. but that's not always an option and sometimes it comes down to do i want to save money and risk it...usually that answer is yes hahaha. USE PAYPAL

like the guy above said if the buyer wants they can file a claim and get money from you. a lot of people get scammed like mad that way...a seller legitly sells the item and the buyer says it was damaged or never arrived and get their money AND the product...happens more on ebay scams...
