SB THURSDAYS

I was up there yesterday and it was a little bit windy but was still a fun day. the progression park was being built and it is looking really good.
I am trying to make it up there on the day after christmas. anyone else thinking of going.

I'm thinking about heading there tomorrow morning. Does anyone know if all the parks will be open? Also is anybody else heading there? I've gone lke 7 times and have been one of only 3 skiers everytime.

maybe a little too much on the first one but the secong was real nice. it was supposed to be lippy cuz its kindof a step up. they are pretty fun to mess around on.

I thought the middle one was money on Thursday when it opened up. Sunday it was too slow to clear it consistently. The bottom step up is pretty fun though.

middle jump had some pop but after a few hits i loved it, bottom one was OK. jumps in lil park were much better than last time i was out

ya jake, but that was fun as hell, such a sick 2 parks when they are all groomed. flat down box is money, just like from the dew tour haha

i'm going up there friday morning. last year the park was basically empty the day after christmas, so if you want to ride two really fun parks with hopefully with not a lot of traffic come on friday.

I will most likely be up there.

Andy you shoud have stayed. Everything became really nice after the snow stopped and the lights came on.

Everything was super sick though.

flat down box was awesome, and the bench has a nice steep landing that you can launch pretty far from like jake was doing with his 4's
i'll prob go on friday in the morning for awhile to rock the new gear

Due to the possibility of poor weather I will not be attending SB tomorrow. However I will be there January 8th and poss the 9th. anyone up to have a session those days.

yea ill be up there too unless its straight raining. if it is drizzling and such ill most likely head up still. its gonna be a last minute decision

fuck my life. i woke up at 10 and decided not to go because of rain. looked out my window. not 1 drop. then i decided to maybe head up. waited another hour. checked the weather. it isnt going to rain until tomorrow night. wtf. fuck my life. screwed myself over again.

yeah same here man. i was so pumped to go skiing then i heard it was going to rain so i didn't go. woke up and it wasn't raining. i guess it rained over night and the roads were really icy by my house. so i made a rail instead and while i'm building it my dad walks outside to tell me it's going to be 55 and thunderstoming tomorrow. great. all the snow will melt and i will have a rail sitting in my yard.

yeah i should have. but i officially have a backyard set up. hopefully the tarps keep the rain away and it should be prime to hit on monday.

anyone, whats the setup like? I really really want to hit up sunburst and sesh with some skiers once im back from Michigan

been a few days so folks correct me if it updated

roller coaster on way to parks

sprec park is fun!:

flat down box - bench - rainbow box

box/picnic table - 30ish footer jump - 15-20 jump

progression:

down rail - rainbow/flat box -

tire mound - 2 jumps

with the pole at bottom

by now i'm hope black forrest has a few things

I should also be out 12/30 during the daytime

S Box will be open for Tuesday, it's on the flat run out of black forest, skiers right of the small table. The idea was to have the 100 footer be on that downslope, until it was just discovered that the sections are bent from when non park crew took it out last year. Now there is hardly any snow on that section so it'll be a while before anything goes in there.

Robby's on vacation until Friday so put in a word to the groomers and steve voss to make sure they use the blade to fill in the landing and takeoff ruts. The tillers don't solve that problem.

PS the jumps are the same whether you hit them in the middle or on the side!

After the roller box is the blue "cliff rail" or what ever you want to call it. It's set up with a pretty good downslope on your way down to black forest.

i help set up the s rail and its been up since yesterday and seems like its go more slurve but cud jus b the angle

as for the side vs middle of the jump, the middle of the landings get bombed out more, ill avoid the pits as much as possible
