Saying "I love you"

i did one time, but once you start talking to them after it starts breaking off, you dont say it, and its awkward

So wasn't referring to that-and drunken I love yous don't count, those mean "I'm drunk and silly and in good company". Neither do I love yous when you are having sex, because that translates to "I love whatever you are doing to me....so good!!"
 
i would never sya that unless i meant it, or was drunk^ so yeah i wont say that in bed. You cant call em the mailman anymore though , ok?

Yeah, don't do it. I was in exactly that situation a while back, though I never would've thought I would be. Made the mistake of saying it in exactly that "I want you to know I care" way to a girl I didn't really mean it with, and I COMPLETELY regret doing it. Though it was, in my defense, a confusing situation... still. You need to positively know before you start saying that. Just take my advice on this one. It doesn't end up working in your favour.

Actually i dont know why u need us. How easy is it to say goodbye. She probably already knows that you liker her. You dont express ur feeling in a goodbye right? Just make a joke and you evoied that kind of weird situations:D.
 
I'm gonna agree with this. I NEVER say I love you, unless it's just to my good friends who I am NOT romantic with. It's a completely different thing to say love to a friend than to a romantic friend. And if you're saying it to just a friend, then definately don't say, "I love you," if you want to say love, at least say it in a "friend's only" way, "lova ya, bye."
 
its ok for girls to say it because their women and no one takes them seriously anyways. but when a guy says it you better be really serious.

and I dont mean to be sexist or anything but in High school I didnt take what girls say relationship wise seriously. so many girls call their boyfriends their husbands when their obviously not married, and say I love you without meaning it.
 
ya i say it to this one girl wenever im done talking to her wether its im, txt, or on the phone and she says it back. its relly no big deal it just shows that "hey i relly like you and i want u to know". its not that hard
 
say "peace out, love ya" in a casual way and it will seem like normal speech but dont annunciate to much or it will sound like you are full out in love, if you say it casually with something else it will show that she means alot to you but you arent in love with her.
 
haha i just find it easier to say. i throw it at my girlfriend of like 3 weeks. shes like "no you dont!" and gets angry, so i keep doing it. i dont care. its funny to have little jokes between couples.
 
yeah what i want to know is what the fuck do you say if a chick says it to you but you dont really wanna say it back.... i think i would probably just be like, i take love extremely seriuosly and i think its a word that gets thrown around too much, and then i need a solid ending...
 
well it depends on how like close you are to the person.. i mean if your not too close then i wouldnt bother but if your like totaly tight with them then yea sure why not i say it to a few ppl and i see nothing of it.. unless im going out with someone then i wont say it as much bnt i still think it would be fine for you to say it to them.. just make sure that it wouldnt make em uncomfortable cause then that would be awkward... but i think its fine i see no harm in it so i say go ahead they might like you too and say it back ya never know
