anyone going to see it tonight? i know i am, although the movies have gotten a little worse since the 1st i still enjoy them. i think there will be a lot of people who go see it, not sure about how good its going to be. what do you guys thing? it will suck, be good, mediocre? lemme here it.
 
im going to see it tonight most definatly . the first one was sick, the quality is going downhill but the guy that thinks of those traps is a genius i mean how do you think of stuff that twisted
 
anyone seen the SAW thing on starz, its a 30 second clip they do the first movie with animated rabbits.

im getting ready to go, im actually pretty excited for this one i just have a feeling its gonna be good. on another note my friend just called and told me she just got kicked out cause they asked for tickets once they were in the theaters and they threw theirs away. gay as shit...
 
honestly, how can that movie even be considered a horror flick?

that stuff isnt scary its just disgusting, its like gore, flesh and torture. almost grosser than watching the beheading of that american hostage. minus the fact that it isnt real. i dont know how those movies qaulify/pass whatever standards there are to be released into theatres.
 
wow i just got back from it, and i have to say it was probably the best one yet as far as im concerned. if you've seen the other 3 it really makes them all makes sense, but they throw a twist in at the end that still has me thinking. it was probably the most disgusting as well but whatever i thought it was really good.

im surprised, if you have payed close attention while watching the other 3 this one kind of wraps them all together. like i said though in the end it is pretty intense to me, like ill just say that this one took place during all 3 of the other ones SOMEHOW. i liked it a lot.
 
oh my god i know man. im trying so hard not to talk about scenes. but then after that that cunt actually tried to fucking kill him. i was so pissed.
 
Aw, It was okay. The one main detective was a shitty actor. I'm really dissapointed that there wasn't some bloody bone crushing death waiting for him, so that I wouldn't have to sit through his acting the whole movie. It wasn't very great though... if you didn't like the first three saws this one isn't going to change your mind.
 
I saw it last night and I didnt understand anything and the movie theater was really hot so I just wanted to leave.
 
blew ass chunks. It was just gore. Fucked up shit.... they keep getting worse.

overall rating: save your 10$ and go buy a 6 pack with it.
 
i'm not hating on you or the movies but i'm just uber curious why people wanna go see a movie about people being tortured. i mean it's not real but if you think about it isn't that kinda messed up that you enjoy watching people be tortured? when you hear about anything gnarly happening in real life like that you can''t believe someone would be capable of doing stuff like that but then why would you wanna see a movie like that. i'm not hating. i just wanna get your point of view.
 
or find one more dollar and get a 30 rack of keystone!!!

I wanted to see it but the price of admission to the theater is so much that i am saving my money for american gangster. hopefully it makes it to dvd sort of quick so i can rent it.
 
i saw it last nigght, it was kind of confusing at the end but then it came togewtehr just like the other ones. I thought it was better than 2 and 3. I would reccomend it
 
ONCE AGAIN, if you havnt seen each movie multiple times.... DONT SAY " saw is gay, saw is terrible, ect." .... You dont have any idea what you are talking about!!!!!!!!!!!
 
why do you need to see each movie multiple times? i saw each of them once except for 4, and i think they were decent. i'm probably going to see 4 though.
 
ive come to the conclusion that most people that hate on the whole saw series either havent seen the movies or havent payed close enough attention when they have. The whole series flows incredibly and the plot lines are surprisingly complex for a horror series. Before I saw them I thought they looked like trash to, but the original definitely changed my mind. 2 and 3 definitely went downhill and im not gonna rush to the theater to see 4, but ill definitely rent it.
 
You cant say Saw 4 is gay unless you saw the previous three. It may not have the best acting but the plot is ten times more complex and entertaining than most movies out there.
 
WHO THE FUCK WOULD EVER MAKE 6 OF THESE!!!!!!!!!!!!! DONT YOU REALIZE THAT IF YOU MAKE 6 MOVIES WITH THE SAME PLOT AND THE SAME FUCKING GROSS SHIT PEOPLE ARE JUST GOING TO STOP GOING TO IT!
 
I know this thread is old but I just saw saw 4 on dvd for the first time

heres my take on the series

The first one was amazing. They came up with an awesome plot for a horror movie. The traps were simple yet amazing. They all played on the "how much are you willing to suffer to live" theme and in turn value your life more since you didn't value it before. These days its hard to make an original movie, especially a low budget one thats not based on any previous book or movie or whatever. So they had to make it gorey to attrack people. But still, it really wasn't that fucked up (compared to the newer ones). You honestly can't rank the original saw as a great movie.

Number two was pretty sick. It took the same theme as the first but did it in a different way. It was almost like a reality TV, big brother (the show) type satire. The traps got a little more fucked up (but still awesome), they had to make it even more violent to appeal to the masses, and the special effects/photography was a little better. The plot of the movie was awesome and the twist was immaculate. this was a great movie.

So number three comes along. They rush to make this movie and it comes out like shit. The plot is weak as fuck, the traps no longer play on the original theme. The traps themselves suck. To make up for everything else, they just add in more and more gore and violence. This movie sucked.

Number four was complete garbage. The plot blew cock. The acting was shitty. The cinematography was awful. The traps were stupid. To make up for all this they just added more and more and more gore and fucked up shit-the brain autopsy is a perfect example (pointless and fucked up). The only parts I liked about the movie were the history of jigsaw and the masuleom trap.
