so i want to install a game on my computer but i cant take the disc with me.

so i need to save it to my hard drive to be able to play it without the disc.

can anyone tell me how to do so?

i googled it, but all i could find was instructions for doing this with a game system.

thanks for any legit help

not very helpful

what do i do with the no cd crack? is it a code? program?

what do i do with it?

what game is it? I'll find you a legit one.

but what it is, is generally an altered version on an executable that only runs when the cd is in the computer so more than one person doesn't use the same copy. you replace that executable (or dll) with the altered version that allows the game to run without the cd. really super easy to do with older games, sometimes more difficult with recent ones.

1. install poweriso

2. create an image file of the cd

3. mount the image file as a virtual drive

4. open up my computer and run the virtual drive

5. ????

6. profit

star wars. episode 1 the phantom menace for PC.

its an old game. so it should be easy from what you say.

thanks man +k

it is easy, but the problem is then you have to keep the cd iso on your computer which takes up a fair amount of space.
