Please if you can help us out by signing our petition to stop the planned changes to our park.

Roundtop, one of my local mountains is proposing moving our park to a totally different trail on the mountain. The existing park has its own lift where you can watch everyone else throw down, has a nice place to gather at the top, and is easy to access from many trails. The new trail features none of this, and is a high traffic area to get to the other side of the mountain. You can read more about it in the petition, but this change will surely affect the vibe and overall experience of our park.

Also help the 7springs homies while you’re at it

I would focus more on safety and how it impacts non park skiers as well.

Safety point out that the landings are visible from the lift so you can see what's going on right before you get to the top and then wait at the top as you see people clear out of the way. Personally I hate hitting jumps that you can't see from the lift because someone could be dead in the landing and I'd have no idea.

For non park skiers it takes away one of the only trails that isn't just straight down and is by far the best intermediate slope.

You don't need random kids from all across the country signing this. You need the actual local population, so if you want it to change make it more appealing to everyone and send it out to ski clubs in the area.

Only downside to this is that if not susquehanna then it will probably be recruit, which isn't ideal either.

Signed. It’s so depressing seeing these parks taken away from us. Feels like we got nothin to live for without them

Yeah I already got a bunch of locals to sign, and yeah those are some good points. I definitely agree it’s a bit of a safety concern

Thanks bro, appreciate it! Our park isn’t going away entirely thank god, just moving to a weird location. I’m sure our park crew will still make some dope setups no matter where it ends up.

Ill tell you one thing, my home home mtn (OG Shawnee (pocono)) moved the terrain park and its been very downhill since. Usually when the trail is moved the mtn wants to use the trail for other purposes. This does not look good for roundtop but I will support the fight.

Definitely wouldn’t sign this. I couldn’t figure out why everyone wanted the park to be exclusively on fife in the first place- one of the flattest trails on the whole mountain. Now RT gets the most ideal trail on the mountain and there is a petition to stop it? I can’t figure this out kids.

Fun fact- Tom Wallisch hasn’t skied at Roundtop since the park was moved to fife….

Bruh what? You get a longer trail with natural rollers that can be padded out for great landings….

If there were two trials like susquehanna I'd be more for it. This is screwing the average skier over more than it is park riders.

Only thing I'm going to really hate about it is not being able to see if anyone is in the landings while going up the lift.

I totally agree with Susquehanna being a great skiing trail and serves as a transitional trail for beginners and intermediate skiers to improve. But trying to understand why the population of local park skiers at Roundtop care about the beginner/ intermediate guest experience misses with me.

Being able to see someone on the landing of a jump is a phenomenon that exists only in the fife park because it is so flat. And that park being on a beginner trail promoted traffic of beginners on its own- I see Susquehanna being much more isolated.

Anyone who misses the fife park can just build a hike park in their backyard full of features that require no speed.

I’m more of a handrails n log jams kinda park rat, but a fat tail budder on a nice roller is timelessly fun

Well??? How did the petition go?

I heard that management was so outraged by the petition that they decided to turn susquehanna into an expert tubing run to spite all the skiers/snowboarders.

It's always a long shot but it worked at a Vail owned resort at Stevans in WA getting the park back to brooks. Good luck homie!

Hey, at least we still have jbar. It would be rad if they did something with bunker this year too

sadly it's probably just a matter of time until Vail takes that out or refuses to allocate staff to run it.

They repeatedly told staff at liberty that their jbar "is not a premium guest experience" and that is why it's been killed at Lib.
