When I took the test in 8th grade I did better than 3/4 of american seniors at math. Thats all I remember. I haven't taken it in highschool yet.

Honestly, I think this thread is going to be about as honest as the penis size thread...

Regardless, I don't know/care what i got in my SATs in high school... However i do remember what i got on them in 7th grade (it was the old test)

im kind of glad that they dont put as much emphasis on these as they used to. there are so many people that go out and spend a grand on a course that basically tells them how to take the test and will boost their scores up. i did average and got into a decent school without taking a class on how i should take the SAT's.

im just sick of so many of the kids at my school that go around braggin about their scores and shit even though they took this course... and there are some that did really well but have shitty gpa's so now they are starting to hold back from braggin about their scores since they are getting denied from places. im not directing this at anyone here im just sick of some of the kids at my school
 
its ok buddy, i got the same as you when i took them. and i assume that most of the people are making up scores or only they super smart ones are posting what they got. either way you got about avarage. except in writing you did bad in writing,ha
 
dont. my second time taking them my scores went down 120 points. i got a 4 on my essay, and 430 writing. 33rd percentile, and i had to send that to colleges.
 
ahh man dont. Pretty sure i did worse than you. I took mine just to make my parents happy. SATs dont judge how smart you are in any way. The only thing they judge, is how well you can take the SAT. In my mind, they dont mean anything.
 
Yeah same here man, I'm really not looking foward to it at all, it's going to be so stressful. I don't understand how the SAT's show how well of a student you are, I think it's pretty stupid.
 
ya my scores wer good enough for the colleges i wanted to get into( just reading and math) but im pretty sure only the poople who got good scores posted with the exception of me.
 
the sat's honestly don't mean that much anymore, they're basically just used to seperate people with similar gpa's. It's just really helpful to get a good score
 
ya i got w/l at gettysburg. i dont know if i would have gone there anyways. im deff looking at american though. seems like a pretty sweet place.
 
yeah I got wait listed at gettysburg as well, thought I'd get in because I knew so many people but whatver, it made my decision for me, haha it was like a 50/50 split before that
 
im so fucking scared to take this next year...i have shitty grades, so i dont expect to do that well. whatever, i guess ill just deal with it when i have to take it next year. are there colleges now that accept solely the ACT though?
 
it seems to me that's all you need. Don't most schools take the ACT or the SAT? and that's a fantastic score.

So glad to be done with the SAT.
I got 710 Math 790 Critical Reading 800 Writing.
 
took it old school i think lol 3 years ago i cant member SATs werent as important to my school as a killer essay and challenging high school classes
