SAT scores

I took it last year and managed to pull off a 2150 without studying. Definitely helped me get into colleges

Whoops didn't think about what I wrote there, I totally screwed that up. Haha. It turns out he did get a perfect score in Repost! Good for him!

In all seriousness though, I'm a homeschool student and I completely missed my SAT's. I didn't know what date testing was and just completely forgot about them. At least I'm going to a photo school though, where most of them don't even ask for SAT scores. If I can't get into any photo school... then I'm kinda screwed.

If any of you had the essay question: "Should we care just as much about people in other countries as we do

about people in our own country? Plan and write an essay in which you

develop your point of view on this issue. Support your position with

reasoning and examples taken from your reading, studies, experience, or

observations."

My friend could have scored your exam. He's been doing it for the past year or two while he's a poor philosophy grad student.

Yeah that's what happens when you throw an essay at high school students based off of world events. Most are going to be like #Kony and not substantial in any way

They don't score on content or accuracy. They score on your ability to formulate an argument and support it.

Math- 740

Verbal- 710

Writing-640

Can't remember all my scores on ACT but my composite was 33 and I got a 36 on reading.

I live in Canada, but I got 100% on my Calculus AP final, and graduated with a 4.23 GPA and a 98% average in HS.

Would've liked to do a lot better but whatever. reading/writing's never really been my thing. I'm kinda pissed I couldn't get a 800 on math though because I was confident with all my answers... I'm just a bad test taker. I took AP Calculus as a junior last year so I knew everything really well.

31 composite ACT, 1980 total SAT both first round testing. I take the ACT again on saturday, and the SAT again next saturday.

Reading - 480

Math - 560

Writing - 400

1440 Total

It doesn't matter anymore since I'm already in college, but I really do suck at taking the SATs.

me too, it's a good score. Notice how many people aren't posting in here? For everyone >1700 theres probably 10 < than that

I had a 1380 back when the writing portion was SAT II and I think I got 680 or 660 on that. Soooo I guess that would convert to 2040? 2060?

Most schools are using "holistic" admissions anyway now so the total package is what matters. Killing it in just one category probably won't help you that much.
