Names is a tricky thing.In russian Sasha can be Alexander(man name)or Alexandra(girl name)I thought she is a guy cause of her family name-it is Cherninkoff,if it were Cherninkova,i would have no questions,but Cherninkoff sounds a lil bit boysh.Sorry Anyway.I also would like to add that i am very glad that some not maybe 100% russian,but still a little bit russian girl ,rips out there on some biggest competitions and so on.Huge respect.
