No, seriously, she sucked man. I was afraid of McCain becoming president because of his old age and her decent chance of becoming president. This was not liberal media spin. She winked a a fucking debate, she claimed that being governor of Alaska gave her diplomatic experience with Russia, she conveyed nothing to suggest anything that should lead you to believe that she is more intelligent or more competent that Obama, she did the opposite.

i did not read a whole lot of responses to this thread but as a future business owner you would have to cut taxes dramatically for me to increase capital expenditures or create more jobs. if anything taxes on the small businesses should not rise, but they necessarily do not have to go down.
if the government cut my business taxes by 5% I would not hire any more employees, its slow enough out here, that would not entice me to hire more employees. We need more people in buying goods, not figuring out how to hire more people, this will come when people open their pocket books.
I do think the media made palin out to be worse than she is, im not saying she should of been the VP but the media can portray anybody the way they want.
Oh, and on a small front, the united states now has one of the top corporate tax rates in the developed world. France actually has a lower corporate tax rate than we do (last i heard). crazy

Yes, by cutting taxes it would not only make it easier for new businesses to open, due to lower cost. But with every one being taxed less the money not being wasted on taxes would be spent on personal items. Which would then give businesses more money allowing them to expand and hire more people. Which, in turn, the newly hired people will have more money which they will be able to spend pumping the economy even more. Its a simple trickle-down effect.

First of all, it isn't just liberals that think she is stupid. Secondly, the last five vice presidents have all sucked, all the way to George Senior as VP for Reagan. Sarah Palin was arguably the dumbest potential VP of these last 5, but I can't conclusively say that she took that title from Quayle. The problem that made Palin worse than any of them, however, was the age of McCain. If he would have won 2 terms, by the time he left office he would have been 2 years older than the average American life expectancy. McCain probably was not going to win the election anyways, but Palin was the nail in the coffin. Don't try to blame it on sexism or liberal media, that would be like me blaming FOX news for Rod Blagojevich's bad image.
