Sarah Burke wins ESPY Awards

umm, when? last time i checked sarah won pipe at x-games this year...which is the only thing people on the espy's see.
 
Sarah Burke's hotness dominates Grete's skills. Welcome to women's sports. Kournikova, Sharapova, etc...who cares if they win as long as guys can drool over them.
 
the espy's are in 3 days... meaning the results come out in 3 days. anyways, i did vote for sarah, and i hope she takes it.
 
How do you know the results?  Dont they not air until Sunday?  I know they were already filmed but did they release the results?
 
i don't give a fuck how little respect you have for espn, you're complaining about grete not winning a yearly award...in a year that she got beat by sarah.
 
who cares about espn or the espy awards...

i mean all the people that arent into "action" scene and only here stuff about it when x games come around, dont deserve to pick who did the best...

props to her that she won it, but in the skiing comunity the espy awards dont mean shit. atleast thats how i feel

My award goes to Ingrid Backstrom for ripping big mountains harder than the boys, and to Michelle Parker for going as big and as stylie as them in her Ski Porn segment.
 
First off, the espy's took place Wednesday night, the television coverage is on the 15th. If you want to argue about that, google espy results to see for yourself that they have already happened.

Sarah won against Torah Bright (Snowboard), Layne Beachley (Surfer), Jamie Anderson (Snowboard), and Elissa Steamer (Skateboard). Impressive that skiing held up against those sports in the eyes of big$$$$ ESPN.

It was the first time that an espy has ever gone to a skier.

Also, Kaya didn't ski last year, Grete got beaten by Sarah at the X-Games fair and square, Sarah also won the X-Games, WSI, Japan Open Slopestyle, etc. and landed a large cork 10 in the pipe in the superhit comp at WSI, so give the girl some props.
 
oh you bastard, i googled espy results and posted a link to the first article i saw because i put faith in what you wrote, and as it turns out, the article was from last year, and the results aren't visible on google. but i believe you.
 
i saw her talking to some fat mexican at the espy's on "jimmy kimmel live" tonight. figured someone else on ns had allready posted something related to it and, what do ya know.
