Whoever made the post about Sarah riding Armadas during her slopestyle run at the X-Games was correct. I was browsing www.skipass.com today and there is an article about her quiting her sponsorship with Salomon, along with a photo of her sliding a rail on AR5s. Just thought you all would like to know, I'm not saying she's sponsored by Armada but she was riding their skis during the X-Games

I think she's better off without Salomon. I mean sure, they probably provided a decent salary but I think she would be better off with the backing of a huge skiing corporation. Armada's fan base seems to be growing rapidly. Grete Elisson, Sarah, TJ...and I don't think it's $$$ that is influencing their decisions.

did you know why she droped them???? they were getting pissed that she was wearing NS clothing and not salmon and they were going to cut her pay in half because of it. and now she is riding for armada. this is what i heard anyone hear anything different?

Yeah, from what I've heard she was getting frustrated by the fact that she was locked into wearing Salomon outerwear and asked them to up her salary to match what she could get from a seperate clothing sponsor, but they told her she was dreaming , and so she told them where they could stick their contract!

Good on you, Sarah. You're possibly the single most marketable commodity in skiing. Make the most of it!

i just hope her story isnt the same old one.....the company wasnt going in the direction i want skiing to go, so i broke away(line and armada, i have noting against the companies at all)

i love to ski, so should you, its fun, try it sometime
 
salamon is making 2 new promodels this year, and they have alot of money and such so i would think it would be a good company to ride for......
