MAN...did that 10 day forecast take a change for the better or WHAT!!??? Hopefully it's enough to keep the Gapers in the lodge and the killers in the streets of Alpine Shreadows where we belong. Word.
 
thank god! we are gettin dumped on...15 inches at kwood right now with a chance of a total of 3 feet...lets hope alpine gets as lucky. theyll prolly get less but its gonna be fully open this week....FUCK YA!
 
Yeah, I knew it would be getting better when There were isolated showers off and on all day while I was skiing yesterday. Then on the way home, it was blowing all over the windshield down to almost auburn.
 
Where was the Dcrew this weekend? I didnt see any of you guys at alpine or boreal. Shredows was intense today, I think I have somersaults and face plants dialed. I need FAT skis, the forward-mounted tweaks arn't cutting it with the cement, thats for sure.
 
dave you were up today? i went up late in the afternoon and took a few runs on roundhouse. i was soaked after the first to runs....gnarly snow thats for sure.
 
I hit up alpine today too, that wind was fierce. Got some nice runs on scotts untill they closed it. Wish i could go tomarrow, open to the top. On a side not i got to ride my new madens finally!
 
Andy, I got there at about 9:30 and left around 1. I probably didnt see you because I was riding Scott when they opened it later in the day. Luke and I were stuck on the lift near the top when it shut down for a while, we were getting slammed with pelting snow. I left right after that cause I was soaking wet.
 
Il be at shreadows tom, i took the last 2 days off because, well because im tired of skiing the stupid park and i wanted a day to chill. I will be out tomarrow at alpine on the JP's for the first day ever, il be on scott chair all day probably maybe a few runs through keyhole and thse areas if i can find someone to ride with. Dave, sorry i didnt get your call untill late friday night. I'll have a full face on and a new jacket ( pearl color) with plaid orange pants on .
 
jex tuesday is gonna be of the chain, mack brett jake and I will be thur on fat skis. seriously if you dont have a ski with 100+ underfoot your soooo not in style. MACK MOUMT YOUR FUCKING ANT:S i standing on my Jp's right now and let me say one thing, im gonna fuck alpine like ive never fucked it before.
 
Nick, let me know how the jps are...mine will be slaying the dogwoods of sierra and some secret spots on thur/fri.
 
and im just as stoked on skiing pow as the next guy. but also don't forget that all this new snow is gonna mean bigger jump;s and more parks
 
I'll be shredd'n the pow pow on my center mounted scratched. 80 under the foot, talk about flotation...wew.
 
snow levels supposefly rose to 10K last night which means rain! which means great idea for snowpack but not so great pow pow.
 
nah.. last night they dropped back down to 8k I think...

yesterday in the afternoon it was probably up to 10k... but it dropped as soon as nightfall came.
 
Well, Im mounting up my inflatable pontoons that are like 180 underfoot, knar! So i can rip rain ruts like a motherfucker.
 
SNOW SUCKS ASS< STAY HOME. im serious i went for one run at alpine and said fuck it. and i was on JP"S and it stil sucked.
 
i'ma be reppin' the 175 troublemaker steeze so Dave and Jex and me will have to form a dope posse of skinny ski faceplanters while all you losers schralp on your cheater skis...I HAVE ANTS but i just was too lazy to buy bindings...stupid not buying bindings, i feel like an idiot, maybe ductape...
 
alpine was a deathtrap this past weekend..the snow was hooky, super heavy and they opened shit they shouldnt have.I dropped in to the skiers left of scott chute but to the skiers right of chute that seldom slides and i set off a big ass slide. 2 1/2 foot crown line, easily 50-60 feet wide and it ran all the way down to the trees. the patrollers at that mountain are idiots. I have seen too many slides in bounds, fuckin hippies need to get thier act together.
 
i think the wood is ruined by now to... i dotn even know what to say. sorry if it seems im complaining but itsd not even fun toi ski the 3 feet wewe got. not fun at all.
 
ya..it filled up the spots im pretty sure. i guess id know better if i got up there but...much better base than before.
 
This sucks...all the resorts are making it sound like it's not a big deal but kyle was out at squaw yesterday and said it sucked and it was raining!!

yeah... its pretty nasty out there... but hey, just wait till that one big january storm that brings cold alaskan goodness down and dumps taht 8% powder on us.

I just got back form krikwood and it sucked so bad. One the lifts were down for an hour due to a power loss. and then the 2 feet they claimed to get was like a foot and it was heavy as shit.
