Sandwiches recipe thread

if anyone here likes tuna, you'll like this.

1. take a can of tuna or two and put it in a bowl.

2. add mayo, worcestershire sauce, and relish. mix well.

3. get some english muffins (2) and toast them up.

4. spread tuna evenly on the toasted bottoms of the english muffin.

5. put a piece of cheese of your choice on top (i suggest american or gouda)

6. put into an oven or convectional oven and broil until cheese is melted over.

7. put toasted top on.

Very good recipe. I have it at least 3 times a week for lunch

its called lox its your choice of bagel i like in on a plan bagel then put any type of cream cheese on it lots of it then put thinly sliced smoked Salmon then some onions and capers and a piece of tomato

Dude I do the exact same thing, but I have never added worcestershire sauce and now going to try it. mmmmmm

And I make a wrap with grilled chicken, romane lettuce, cheese of choice, and then you mix BBQ sauce and Ranch together as a sauce and it is amazing!

Ok
-take a circular roll of sour dough bread, cut it in half hamburger style and hollow out the inside like a bread bowl-take turkey, ham, and swiss cheese and melt it all together in a frying pan-put gooey mix in the bottom half of the sour dough-cook 2 fried eggs spiced with salt, pepper, and curry powdersprinkle Parmesan cheese on top, then put a few dollops of guacamole or avacado slices-put two pieces of lettuce on top-take top half of bread and if the proportions are correct, the top piece will fit over snug and line up perfect with the bottom half, making a non-messy, but incredibly delicious sandwich
-the most delicious thing that i have ever cooked

This guy's a little complicated... but SOOO worth the trouble.

ingredients:

Garlic Aioli Sauce

onions

swiss cheese

ground beef/hamburger patty

dinner rolls or fancy hamburger buns

Aioli Sauce

Add

the garlic and salt to the mortar bowl and grind slowly with the

pestle, moving in one direction only. You can do this first step in a

food processor if you'd like, then transfer the mixture back to a

medium sized bowl. Whisk in the mustard first, then the egg yolks. At

this point you can transfer the mixture back into the mortar or use the

whisk in the bowl.

Now you will add in half of the oil. This

must be done very slowly or the oil will not emulsify and your sauce

will not thicken. Add the oil in a slow, fine stream while either

whisking with a wire whisk or using your pestle. Once the first half of

the oil is incorporated, then add the water and the lemon juice, and

mustard, whisking or stirring constantly with the pestle. Then slowly

add the rest of the oil. The mixture will thicken as you continue to

blend it. The mixture should be slightly thinner than commercial

mayonnaise. If it becomes too thick you can add a bit more warm water,

one teaspoon at a time.

The Burger:

grill burger, add cheese, onions, layering of aioli and place between bread/bun slices. wrap whole sandwich in tinfoil. place pack on grill for 3-5 minutes per side, all the while letting it be smashed by a heavy pan.

unwrap.

enjoy.

This sounds delicious, and I'm home for summer break working part time, so I cook one night a week for my family. I think I'll try this next time its my turn. Thanks!

to make the aioli even more delicious, after you peel it, but before mixing it, bake them in an oven for a while first.

okay, so keep the garlic bunch whole, peel just the outer layer, but keep the individual glove skin on, then chop the top off.

drizzle w/ olive oil.

wrap in aluminum foil

bake for 30 minutes at 400 or until cloves are kinda squishy.

then peel the skins off the cloves, mince, and add to aioli sauce.

mmmmm

I would have to say i nice thick peice of bread

-Cook some bacon

-Place turkey on top of bread followed by cheese, and toast

-Place cooked bacon on top followed by onion, lettuce, tomato, and thosand island dressing

This is my favorite sandwich, my aunt made this for my parents ages ago and its still a favorite in my house.

So first you need:

- focaccia bread

- 1 Avocado

- 1 tomato sliced

- Arugula leaves

- 2 grilled chicken breasts

- 2 TSP Olive Oil and 1 minced garlic clove (to brush on bread)

- Red onion - sliced depending on how much you want

1) Cut Focaccia in half

2) season chicken breast, olive oil salt and pepper

3) Grill chicken breast

4) Turn oven on (hot to toast bread)

5) Wash arugula, and tomatoes

6) Cut up tomatoes in slices, cut onion, cut up avocado in slices, cut up chicken breast in slices

7) brush olive oil and garlic onto each half of the focaccia

8) put bread on cookie sheet in the oven (watch it to make sure it just toasts to your liking and doesn't burn)

Put everything on the bread, close sandwich and enjoy.

italian cheese bread, ham, cheddar, grilled, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, salt and pepper fuck yes. sometimes in a trio when im not too broke.

Take any sammich
Replace bread with waffles (eggo-style out of the freezer, hopefully toasted)
Especially good with grilled cheese

Eggo peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are the greatest thing ever. And they make a good breakfast to eat on the way to the mountains too

My version of the classic Italian hero, the best sandwich ever known to humankind:

Bottom --> top

Bread buttered on the bottom

Fresh sliced provolone

Italian Genoa salami, or any dry salami thinly sliced

Roasted red peppers

Fresh sliced (not grated) mozzerella cheese

Campanari tomatos (costco has them)

Prosciutto

Basil marinated in italian vinigrette/olive oil dressing and minced garlic

Parmessan and/or asiago cheese

Thin sliced italian capicolla ham

Bread buttered on top

Toss it on a panini press and grill until the cheese is melted, fuckin epic sandwich right there.

It can also be cooked in an oven but it's not quite as good.

This needed reviving.
I am currently enjoying smoked turkey with cheddar jack, tomatoes, avocado, on an italian roll with olive oil and basil.

I like to make turkey wraps latley.

1-sundried tomato tortilla wrap

(all ingrediants added in middle of wrap in a log like pile)

add mayo (as much as you like)

squirt sriracha onto mayo (as much as you like)

squirt mustard of choice (mine is a habanero mustard)

spread around with knife so all ingrediants mix slightly

two slices of montary jack or cheddar cheese

3 slices of turkey sort of rolled over and placed on top of cheese

lettuce

tomato

salt & pepper

banana peppers

Frozen chicken.

Cook it on the panini, along with Montreal Chicken Seasoning.

Get a baguette. Warm it up with butter on it.

Get Cheese. Melt it onto the baguette.

Get Chipotle Mayo Kraft shit, put it on the cheese on the baguette.

Get Lettuce. Put it on.

Put the chicken on the baguette.

EAT IT.

pastrami and reubens are classics, hard to go wrong with them. Buff. Chick wraps are a personal favorite as well. Oh, and I'm a huge snob with mayonnaise. if it ain't hellman's, it ain't worth it.
