im going to northern michigan in a few weeks on lake michigan and right down the beach from where im staying are some huge sand dunes. so im thinking about bringing some old skis and skiing them. i no someone who snowboarded on the but idk if its a good idea. has anyone ever tried this? or think irs a good idea??
 
haha i think i saw something like that on a warren miller film maybe? do it dude, skiing on sand is better than not skiing at all. just try not to crash
 
yeah dude i would get a sandboard. it would be a bitch to fall on skis cause you would most likely catch a tip and do a faceplant
 
what works really well is an old slalom water ski with two slip in bindings, thats what me and my buddies used and it was awesome.... i assume two waterskis would suffice as well
