Near Perth on the west coast of Australia you can go sand boarding. There are massive sand hills, and its really cool! I didn't get to try it but it looks like loads of fun!

I'm going tonight... I'll try and post some pics. I've got an old pair of Cybers- should I use those, or can I use my machetes? will it wreck my bases? Sand doesn't sound good. I don't care about the cybers though. I'm going to try and ski everything this summer- grass, rocks, pavement... if you guys can think of anything else I should ski, let me know, and it will be done. I'm going sand skiing at a sand pit that's practically in my backyard. The hills aren't huge, but it'll be a good experiment! If anyone lives in southern Ontario and wants to come, let me know. I'm going to a party after too! dwdw

I went sandboarding before...Just like snowboarding except it takes more mustle to turn (because the sand is a lot heavier than snow). Wear googles and be prepared to get blasted with sand. As for sand skiing dont use your real skis, they wont go too fast. Sandboards have some synthetic plastic stuff on the bottom, I'll look it up and put up some directions.
