Is awesome. A super quick hike for some steep gnarlyish lines that need almost no snow to be skiable.
 
agree totally. sandpits are like the gnarliest terrain on PEI. Also, i ahve just discovered the pipeline here in Newfoundland, which with under a foot of snow is most exciting, because of its variable 30-40 degree slope coupled with knolls and a a dirt spine.
 
well i used my urban condition skis, so it didn't really matter to me, but it will definitely take a toll on your boots, front pointing up 50+degree frozen gravel.
