San Fran aiport to Marina District with ski gear question

Anyone know a cheap way to get to the marina district area from san fran airport with ski gear? Its about $90 bucks to get there in an UBER SUV. Looking to spend less.

Any suggestions?
 
I do bart all the time with ski gear. If you don't go during commuting hours it's easy. Get off at the embarcadero station and call an uber from there. It's surprisingly easy to get a ski bag with 190cm skis into a prius
 
As stated, just take BART from the airport to Embarcadero, then call an Uber, it's easy.

Even during busy times, the airport is the first (or second) stop in that direction, so you shouldn't have any issues.

Just make sure you get ready to get off after Montgomery if its busy. Don't let any hobos near your ski gear.
