seems rather cheap which is good because i dont have a load of money!! looks pretty easy to hold steady in follow cam and stuff so yes i will be using it 4 skiing.

anyone had any experience with it ?

any other recommendations around the same price?

i dont no much about camcorders so im open really

If you don't have a computer with a really fast processo, fast video card and LOTS of hard drive space I don't recommend you buy a HD camera. Also a friend of mine has a hard drive camera (assuming your camera is hard drive by the size of it, I didn't look it up) and they had some trouble converting the files. They save to some weird format which I don't remember on your camera and you have to manually convert them to avi so you can work with it. Read reviews on cnet.com. They have nice, unbiased reviews on pretty much every consumer electonic
