Samsung Galaxy S 3 vs HTC Windows 8x

I'm in the market for a new phone after having a shitty flip phone for almost 4 years. I want something with a nice big screen, clean interface, and some cool features. I've narrowed it down to these two and I can't really decide. So NS, wow me with your technological insight on which one is better.

you can get snap chat on the windows phone. you know what that means??? you wont get pics of your friends with dicks drawn all over them. but the windows phones are sweet as hell, Id go windows
 
been a smart phone geek since the days of the treo 600, so basically since pretty much the beginning. i've NEVER been a fan of windows mobile software. sure, it's improved over the years, but it's still shit as far as I'm concerned.

the Galaxy S3 is one of the dopest phones I've ever seen. and if you wanna get geek with it, the possibilities are endless. great battery, great screen, great interface. and if you don't want to get geek with it, it's pretty fucking legit straight out of the box.

S3 would be my choice hands down 1000000000%

 
I would go android, have you considered the galaxy Nexus?

It was built as a collaboration between Google and Samsung and it's geared towards managing social media (aka facebook, twitter, instagram, etc.) which is great for if you are into that stuff. In my opinion, it has a slightly better interface than the S3, although it doesnt have that touch to transfer media feature, but honestly I bet you never use that even if you had it. I do believe a new version was recently released and it's supposed to be killer. Definitely check out the galaxy nexus, or whatever the new version of it is called.
 
The s3 has snapchat also. I own an S3 and I would highly recommend it. I came from an iphones 4s and the S3 blows the iphone out of the water
 
Nexus 4 just came out. Made by LG now. Looks like a super legit phone and they are like $300 unlocked? or something crazy like that.

Only downside is that it doesnt support LTE, but depending on where you are that might not even matter
 
Definetely the Windows Phone 8. The screen size/quality is amazing ad they have really improved their ui.
 
Windows phones are sick. I have an iPhone 5 but I mess around with my friends windows phone and it just blows my iPhone out of the water
 
I had an s2, absolutely loved it, it was bomb proof. "upgraded" to a S3, screen broke the second day I had it, dropping it from seated position onto commercial carpeted floor. Not impressed. And it really isn't much better then my s2
 
Fuck the windows system. I had one for 2 months and got rid of it because I couldn't stand it. The app store is a joke, it has a weird interface, the tiles seem nice at first but they end up not even showing when you get a text/call. I would go S3.
 
nexus 4 is confirmed to have an lte chip inside, it's just not activated. some guys actually got it to work in canada

i have a galaxy nexus and an s3, i do find stock android on the nexus much more attractive. the s3's ui is too iphone like for me. i just flashed the s3 with stock android so now it's all good. the bigger screen of the s3 is so nice to have, i honestly didn't know how i got through a year using an og droid with a 3.7 inch screen. the downside is it's really fragile, i just had mine fixed and it cost 220.
 
Fuck windows phone. Get either and android phone (s3, nexus 4, galaxy nexus) or an iphone 5
