i could see Sammy leaving Salomon at some point to move in with a company that will give him a pro-model right off the bat. it seems there are a a fair amount of pros moving around these days, so i wouldn't be surprised at all if that happened.

Pretty positive Abma is getting a pro model. I cant remember what its called, but its all enviroment friendly material and hippy, just like he is. Which is cool. Abma slays and should be the one with the pro model. Sammy and Dumont are sick and Douglas is definitely a good face to have, but Abma is leading the way.

I actually dont know if Sammy will leave Salomon, unless he starts doing the t-hall thing more (seems pretty possible) and wants a wider ski with park capabilities like the kung fujas, then I could see him going somewhere like Armada, since they just lost Tj. If not then Im sure he'll stick with the thruster-esque model. They might even slap his name on it at some point or something but lets face it, Dumont is the publicity stunt and that's why his name is on a model.

Mike D. did not invent twin-tips. A group of Hood locals did (Griffin Commings, Josh Frazier and Travis Erdmann) and Salomon took their idea. Mike D. was a mogul coach from Canada and made a stupid video called "Air Carving", and Salomon sent them some of the fist prototypes. The full length twin-tip ski started on Mt. Hood. One hour away from Salomon's US headquarters in Portland (at the time).
 
word, completely true. Anyone can ask griffin the story and he'll tell you! its pretty epic how it all started and they never get any credit from anyone for starting up the first twin tipped ski.
 
Sammy kills it. It will just take some time for him to get what he deserves, Nothing happens overnight. Hard to get promodels and such when there are others that are more established, as long as he keeps charging it will work its self out.
 
Sammy was skiing a different ski friday at hood, i asked him what it was and it was FIRST DESIGN FOR HIS PRO MODEL!!!!!. It looked sick i want it.
