Well nobody really "cares" like it's vital. He probably made this thread because he learned that, was surprised and wanted to know if this is normal, because he wanted to know what others like and also to be sure that sammy really skis on 171s. Don't you agree that pros use the stuff they like best and fits them most, and since they have more experience on skiing there might be a reason why they have such preferance? I think it's important to look at what they like and prefer to keep up to date with what is better for you
