Actually I checked that Sammy edit and it does look like he did it on purpose? What's up with that?
 
I don't get this? I watched the other edit as well, and for the life of me it does absolutely look like he did it on purpose. Skier or snowboarder, that's not the point, doing something like that is retarded.

By the way, the guy in green is Jeremy Thompson, who has lived with Walker, Hath, Downey and all those guys over the years. He's just talking shit per usual ha.

the dude talking shit to sammy was someone not in frame, the green guy just had his stint at the beginning
 
His skis are on the sled still. Why would anyone send their sled down the hill with skis on it?
 
That is true, but how do you explain what you actually see in the video? I haven't passed any judgment, i'm just trying to understand what happened. Do you not agree that it looks a lot like he jumps of on purpose?
 
kindly explain to me what that has to do with skis versus snowboards. as i said in another thread i think sammy seems like a douche but i know i wouldnt get my panties all in a knot if i was a snowboarder and act like a little child when a skier showed up. bitch him out for the sled thing, great, but if you think that is related in the slightest to his being a skier you either have rocks in your head or youre in 6th grade
 
why would anyone send a $10,000 sled down a hill into a tree. That seems pretty extreme just to get back at some snowboarders talking shit. And as skodeo already pointed out his skis were on it.
 
nothing, he seemed pretty best friendly with some of em. just pointing out that he almost crashed a sled into a bunch of people, i don't see why you think they hate skiers so much.
 
just cause the dude that kept whining probably wouldn't have acted like a 15 year old had it been a snowboarder that crashed a ski, that's all. maybe he's just always a tool though
 
Why was the GoPro recording? Why does it look like he jumps of on purpose? Again, i'm not trying to pass judgment or hate on anyone, i just find that clip completely perplexing. I just really wanna know what happened. And if it was an accident, it's a pretty retarded one.

Also it did seem to be on purpose from the superpark edit. Sammy seems to act like an airhead some of the time although this could have been an accident I guess.
 
Wasn't Sammy Carlson there last year too? My understanding is that sleds are common at super park. I'm surprised only one person bitched him though. I'd be pissed if I almost got hit by a runaway sled.

also, i think he was the only superpro there, which is kinda funny. A bunch of legendary old guys were there too, who should be better known them him. but out of the crop of riders there to shoot, he definitely had to be the biggest among them.

 
no to carry all his filmers camera equipment and cables. Lost of people bring their sleds to shoots like this to hot lap features
