Sammy carlson: age 23 and last year he was only 17

did anyone else see that wen they were recording him up top before one of his runs it said age 23 on the bottom? and they were also recording simon dumont after that and said that he was jon olsson
 
yeah, my dad was watching it with me, and i was like dad this guy is only 18!! and then like 3 secs late rfthe announcers r like hes 23 yrs old, i wa slike wait wtf? and then they showed dumont in the tent and under him it said jon olsson, fucking tards
 
well both the name and the age thing were graphic mistakes, not the announcing

the graphic said he was 23 and then at teh end of the run the announcers said sammy was 18

same with the name, the graphic said jon, but the picture showed simon, then the announcer squared things up saying that it wasnt jon but rather simon dumont

so that was more of so technical mistake, not the announcers

i just wanted to give the announcers a little break from all the NS hate thats all, and clear it up that it wasnt there fault on that one
 
ya, and the guy said that someone did a switch 9, when they did a straight up 10. and they said someone did a 450 when it was a 270
 
it also says:

"Carlson's break out season as he also became a household name with impressive film segments in both Poor Boyz Productions, War,"

(It should be Poor Boyz Productions's War)
 
it sucked i was telling a kid he was just getting outta of highschool and shit and he's like..uhh r u sure it said he's 23. made me look like a liar..but then they said he was 18 so it was all good.
 
in snow mobiling they were talking about some guy and the announcer said : ___________ is only 24 yeas and 3 monthes old"

i was like wow, why do you need to be so specific.
 
yea that is funny becuase before that, Sal did a segment on how ESPN strives to be as accurate as possible and then they were messing up all those facts about the skiers. way to go
 
i dont get how they revised tanner's x games run...he dropped in switch and threw a switch 9 as his first hit...not a 10 like they were saying, he also barely got it around. amateurs, jesus
 
did anyone else get pissed off by the terrible filming job? the announcers as bad as they were are going for the mass public not the 1000 kids who are going to watch it either way. For me the filming was more annoying than anything else
