Same ski top sheet game weak

Look at these two top sheets and tell me that they arent literally the same thing.

???? why are they the same? are 4frnt and k2 in cahoots???
 
They came out the same season I believe, and to my knowledge the designs are done two seasons prior for most ski/snowboard companies.

Probably just coincidence, the 4frnts did it way better tho

i believe this was discussed last season as well and the design teams from both were stoked that the other had the same idea. i might be wrong tho but that’s what i remember

If I remember correctly somebody made a thread about this last season too, its pretty cool both companies reacted so well honestly

Nothing like the time Ride Snowboards and K2 Skis had the exact same graphic. I want to say this was somewhere around 2015/16.

If anyone else remembers this please chime in. I remember being at SIA in Denver and walking from one booth to the next and then back again because I couldn't believe it was true. After asking a friend who worked in connection with K2 I was told the artist sold the graphic to both brands and didn't mention anything about exclusivity. Or something like that.

K2 and Ride are the same company i think. Both bought by rubbermaid who then got bought out by someone else idk the details but i bet the artist only got paid once and they threw it on multiple set ups to be cheap as fuck.
