what the title says. Line, usually so innovative and advanced. I want to buy a pair of 100s, but I hate the graphics

-freeskier, you are an idiot, i live in Virginia. and I was only commenting on graphics.

-plink: why is that? I am not going to ride skis I think are ugly. do you?

Just saying they should have changed it up a bit considering they are line, and they own

I have only seen the samples that the LINE rep had, but the shade of green was the same on all of the Prophet models -- meaning they all look exactly the same. True, I have not seen the actual skis for this year, but has anyone yet -- damn LINE.

No bro the final skis all have different shades of green. And yeah Strum man up and cop the 130's they'll change your life, so would moving to Utah or somewhere good.

yo has anybody actually skied the prophet 100? are they any good on groomers and shit? they any good for allmountain puroposes (no park)? i'm reaaally tempted to pick up a pair. i'm only skiing one ski this season so its either that or the chronic wide. any thoughts?

^Definitely get the 100s over the chronic wide for everday use it's a much better ski. The chronic wide is the old pro model with a new graphic and the 100 is a brand new ski with a whole lot more of technology and r+d $$ put into it. Since it's bigger you can ski it shorter for everday use like the 179cm. It has metal so it kills the groom and crund and it obviously floats a ton cuz of the width.

^which doesn't mean it's a bad ski though. the old pollards were sickkkk. but skimasterflex is right, if you're looking for one ski for all mountain and no park, the 100's are dope-a-matic.

yeah they are ugly but if you get the 130's it doesnt matter. i want to ski the prophet 130 and the elizabeths more than any other ski from any other company. if the graphics really bother you, get the elizabethsssss

pollard and JLev run teh show man...pollard is designing skis like a mofo!

^ graphics aren't the issue... plus the lizbeths is supposed to be more of a freestyle powder ski not freeride. i need a "do everything ski" not a freestyle specific ski, unless someone tells me the elizabeths do good everywhere on all types of conditions, i might consider it.

The thing that troubles me still about the Prophet 100 relates to something that J-Lev said in the LINE interview on NS, which was that his biggest regret was releasing the Assasins [being their freeride skis] without having trully prepared them to be a great ski.

NOW, having said that, the metal matrix is the same concept in the LINE Prophet 100 and 80 that was found in the Assasins -- so what was improved.

I hated the metal matrix Assasin -- I thought that it skied like ass here in Utah.

I seriously could not care less about the graphics. Get over it? Anyway, they look fine.

meh it is such a solid ski. At least try and warm up to the graphic it really shouldnt matter!!!

You will not feel this way once u get on these skis regularly.

Thats weird, I loved the Assasain mtx pro. I thought it was a great ski and I ended up using it quite a bit when there was no freshies or if the park was shite. I skied 'em about 30 days and found them to be quite versitile. I even tried them in pow. Not bad but I prefer way fatter for pow.

Did you try the mtx pro or the lower end assasin?
