Same Goggle, Different Brand

Whats up Newschoolers, Dont know if anyone cares but I have been looking around now and have come up with some interesting stuff. I have found four retailers selling the same model of goggle all slightly modified, including one from China which is just stock. So Aura, Deft, Xevo, and a China retailer all sell pretty much the same goggle.

Aura: http://auraoptics.com/collections/all-products

Deft: http://deftoptics.com/collections/all

Xevo: http://www.xevooptics.com/the-b-2

China Retailer: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/New-genuine-brand-ski-goggles-double-lens-anti-fog-big-spherical-professional-ski-glasses-unisex-multicolor/1581664423.html?spm=2114.01020208.3.3.9Vx4Oh&ws_ab_test=searchweb201556_1_79_78_77_80,searchweb201644_5,searchweb201560_9

hese are links to all the websites.

My friend has a pair of Aura's, and I bought a pair from China for fun. His seem a little higher quality, not to mention the choice in straps and such. But overall both are well made. I don't have hands on with the other two, but mainly I just want to see what everyone else thinks. Do you think its stupid, funny, smart, or do you even care? From what I know Aura was around first but who knows. Don't know if anyone cares but just thought I'd throw it out there to see what everybody else thinks about it.

Those are the same ones I got haha. So far they seem pretty good, will probly get to test them this Saturday and see how they perform. I also picked up like 4 lenses for $45. So a pair of goggles and 5 lenses for about $60.

I mean i think this thread is totally unnecessary...

Nah just messing with the OP

I bought the aura optics from the kickstarter and they are the best goggles ive ever used. Ive never had them fog up and the lense swap is easy. They are a little pricey but its nice to support a student at the U and to be part of the community and not some chinese retailer.

maybe they get made in the same factory?

dragon were making nikes goggles last year but now nike are doing there own. heard bern are doing goggles made by dragon this year too
