well the snows melting and i want to make it last so can any one give me tips on how to salt and what kind of salt to use etc... thanks

True story, basically its a controlled way of making ice, which melts slower, but its not glare ice so you dont slide.

^yeah. just take hand-fulls and throw it around like, i don't know, your tossing dice while walking on the in run, or on the lip. any kind of sidewalk salt will work fine. just get the best bang for your buck.

i know it seems a bit counter-productive, but it really works. it's right behind a shovel for spring sesh manditory tool.

Or, if your working with a shitload of snow that has the consistency of the salt your going to put on it, like sugar snow that wont pack, dump a lot of salt into the pile for whatever your building, mix it around, and build the kicker out of that. Thats only necessary for snow that behaves like gravel or dry sand and thus wont pack, otherwise do what he said.

one day it was like 70 and the liftee had a cup of tiny white things and he put it on the snow under where you get on the lift and he told me it keeps it from melting but yeah get some of that stuff if you can figure out where to get it form
