i love their boots; they are oh so comfortable. the 1080s are alright, but there are better skis on the market for cheaper. i havent tried their poles.

i think PE's are roughly the same price, but i dont know for sure.

the skies are never the same twice.

their skis however, are pretty much the same, but i think they have a 1080 in a 150 cm.

and they have the new scream 10 HOT pilots, which are going to be the coolest, and they have the swallowtail scream.....

yea the bindings are crazy, they skis are very good, the boots never worked for me

really, well i think the space frame technology is just an excuse to use shitty materials and make bad skis. Why they gotta inject their skis wit foam. Their boots are even that great, too flexible.

^space frame is shit. Salomon gives their athletes $2,000 skis for comps, and markets similar looking skis to kids who want to ski like Candide. They are an evil corporate company only concerned about helping themselves, and not in helping the newschool movement. Having said this, my whole setup is salomon (bought two years ago). The boots and bindings are great (I have the promodel boots, and s912 bindings. my teneightys on the other hand are dead pieces of foam shits with no pop, and soft tails. In other words good boots/bindings, don't get anything that says Spaceframe on it.

I love the bindings. So good! 1080s aren't bad but i think i would've been happier with the PEs or TMs. Still a good ski.

 
Yeah but saying there an evil coropation that doesnt care about the 'newschool' movement. Duh, no companies do or they would be non-profit organizations to give skis to poor kids. They are all making millions of dollars no matter what they try to sell you as their 'company goal' they are all in it for the money. All these companies are selling skis wow they are selling twin tips they must really care about newschool skiing? No they are filling a market gap or trying to take one over by being 'for the people'. they are all selling 75$ worth of materials for 600$ face it.

ok think about this for a second. Granted solonom has had the 1080's out for the longest time for a twin tip, but what the hell is with this foam core. everyone knows foam cores suck. even the pro riders for solonom think so. they 1080 pro ski is a race base with a wood core. if the pros wont even ski on the foam core why the hell are they selling it to us?

i cant say anthing about there skis cuz i havent ridden em, but wut i can tell u for sure is that there are damn good skis for chaper like the PE's
