SALOMON Z-12ti BASEPLATE FAILURE

AFTER ABOUT 130 DAYS ON THE HILL, I'VE HAD THREE Z-12ti

one of my heelplates is cracked, and the other one just broke. so i got a new one. then the heelpiece died. so now i have a 912 heelpiece.

z-series sucks. end of story

S is even worse! Really light bindings but the S and Z series are just not made to handle anything tough. Supposedly the H's hold up well with the same light weight.

The S series isnt that bad... I mean, look at the STH? that binding is pretty solid, i gotta say.

yup i prereleased on a switch landing and broke the brake ($15), but it bent part of the rear baseplate too. i'm gonna send it back to salomon and pray they warrantee it. do u think they will?

These all have metal construction and worm heels which are much more solid and stop the exact problem you had
