Salomon Warranty Questions +Karma

Just dropped my SPK Pros off at my local shop to get sent to Salomon for warranty

I have blown a toe rivet and replaced it, I blew another toe rivet but haven't tried to fix it, have lots of rips on the leather, and ripped the pull handle on one of the tightening cords.

Has anyone worked with Salomon's warranty? How long does the process take? Did your stuff get repaired or did you get new ones?

Thanks!

hmm they might not replace those things since they are ware and tear things...salomons pretty good about getting out of warrenty things..

as for the tightening string tie it back into a knot, and burn the not with a match so it forms back together..good as new..as for the leather, you might just have to let it be..

hope this helps!

There isn't really a rule book - everything is treated on a case-by-case basis. If the boots had faults or they became fucked before they should have, then yeah you may get warranty.

Thanks for the input. I don't think the toe rivets should have ripped out, which is why I'm sending them in. A 530 MSRP boot should hold together yadidimean

All manufacturers claim they have similar warranty systems but certain ones do not carry out their claims. Luckily salomon from what i have herd is very good about their waranty system.
But with all companies they must see it as a manufactures defect rather than product abuse
hope this helps
