Salomon upgraded me from Z12's to 2009 STH12's FOR FREE!! - PICS

So this year I've been having big problems with my Z12's. The friction plate kept sliding out and jamming when I landed tricks and even during regular turns. It finally popped off last week rendering my skis pretty much unusable. My heel plate cracked, by brake bent, etc...anyways, so I brought my skis in to my local shop for the 5th time this season and when I went to pick them up I had brand new 2009 STH-12's mounted on my skis!!! My shop guy said that they explained Salomon the situation and agreed to upgrade me. Sooooo sick, props to Salomon.

wtf. i have salomon z10s and i've never had any problem with them. They have been beat pretty hard and they're still going strong.

the plate thing. the z12 is like titanium(easyer to break) and the sth is like steel(harder to break and more durable) i think thats it correct me if im wrong

Answer: More solid heel plate, non-moveable toe friction plate, non-hollow toe piece, reenforced heelpiece, etc
