Salomon thrusters vs Armada AR6's

My skis are getting worn out so its time i find some new ones. I limited it down to thrusters or the ar6. i'm about 100 pounds ski 70% park so stil like to ride the mountain. I want them to be good on jumps and rails and they will get centered. Any suggestions?

well i love my ar6's they are light flexy and are good on jumps never tried the thrusters though

Go with AR6's. Thrusters are fun skis and super light, but they are not durable at all. My edge fell out after a few days of riding and my ski snapped in half after about a months use.

Also, I usually would say Ar6! Ar6! but, I ride the Ar6's now, have ridden the foils (more comprable to the thrusters) and have to say for a 100 pounder the Ar6 may be a wee bit too stiff. Salomon's park skis (up till now, not next year w/the wood) have always been really flexy with its type of core so ud prob do better on thrusters.

hey an, id go with the ar6, those r the ones im ordering right now, the thrusters are sick but their kinda stiff, my friends got them and he dosent stop complaning of how their stiff and stuff, ar6 are a bit softer=better for park

not really... there not to stiff there pretty much just right in between im at 120 and i love thrusters but i have dumonts. there alot softer than dumonts(thrusters are) and super nice for park and pipe. the one and only thing i dont like bout them is that there wood/foam core it makes them lighter thou and i dont think youll have anyproblem with breaking a ski at 100. go thrusters for sure

Thrusters if you like softer skis

both are very solid skis.

sounds like the thruster is a better ski for me, is it capable of skiing all mountain also such as glades and groomers?

Thrusters are like 2x4's when compared to AR6's in a lenght of 181 though i love AR6

i own both skis. The Ar-6s are what i ride most of the time they are really fun lots of flex but very poppy still fun for park and trails. The thrusters are amazing skis light and poppy but they are stiff. More of an all mountain ski but still ultra fun in the park try both skis and see what you like more its all about what you like.

The thrusters from 2 years ago the white a blue ones. i didnt realize that they were any different i thought that they kept the same core so it would mean basically the same ski just different graphic. My bad.
